Double Portions has an approved 203 (K) consultants allowing lenders to select us as consultants when processing a mortgage application under the 203 (K) program. The 203 (K) is used primarily for the rehabilitation, revitalization and repair of single-family properties under the Department of Housing and Urban Development. We assist the lender/client in successfully using the Section 203 (K) program by monitoring and/or overseeing reconstruction of rehab property.

  • exterior appeal/remodeling inspections - new exterior siding, adding a second story to the home, covered porch, installing railings, attached carport
  • reconditioning or replacement plumbing inspection
  • installation of well and/or septic systems inspection
  • electronic and written reports
  • constant communication with client through secure website
  • multi-phase site visits
  • ongoing communication with consulting contractor to exchange information/discover obstructions
  • visual inspection of major components (roofing, plumbing, major appliance etc.)

We understand the importance of rehabbing homes and commercial property for the community and its investors. We accept the responsibility for reviewing and analyzing rehabbed units and homes. Our company will cover all inspection aspects of the project and communicate progress and deficiencies. In addition we review plans and paperwork closely with contractors to ensure specification and deadlines are thoroughly adhered to and monitored.
